Right before the pandemic hit, I bought a house in Baldwin, on a short sale. My wife and I were so excited to get a good deal on a solid home that we may have been over confident in our abilities to successfully accomplish the remodeling. After we gutted the kitchen, we realized we haden't a clue as to the next steps. We went to a local kitchen and bath retailer for help, long story short, he quoted us over $60 k for new cabinets and to install it. At that point I went to my friend Google for help. Up popped, Desiderato Designs, I immediately placed a call. Tina cheerfully answered, came out within days and we were under contract within a week. First and foremost, as a businessman, I need to say, this girl, is smart, she's not just cute and bubbly... she knows her stuff. She spends a considerable amount of time working with her customers to give them everything they want. She showed us 2 different designs for our kitchen, we worked together selecting cabinets, flooring, faucets and all the components. She handles everything, all I did was write the checks. Money well spent! We couldn't be happier with how our kitchen looks, it's gorgeous, well-build cabinets and the best part is that everything from start to finish was under $45k, a fraction of the cost of our local kitchen retailer.
